Not quite uptodate yet.

This is for the certificates and plaques that the Civilian Ranks can earn, with more details than are shown on the main Awards page.

The Descriptions are combinations of the official description and of my own experience. Any errors are my own, mostly.

Description
Achievement Plaque (50)
Achieved after successfully completing 50 Missions.
Appreciation Certificate
Once at the rank of GS-6 this certificate will automatically be awarded to you.
Commendation Certificate
Being recommended by Section Leader. This Ribbon also requires you to be active in the SGA - in both communication and training.
Good Conduct Certificate
Recommended by Sec, Div, Team Leader, or SGA Team. This Ribbon is pretty hard to get. You have to be active in communication(chat in the OC) in order for ones to know if you have good conduct or not. It is not as hard to get as the Good Conduct Medal, but it is still tough.
Literary Service Certificate
Submitting legitimate Fan-Fic. Fan-Fic must be in accordance to the Terms of Use, and must be a real Fan-Fic - not just a paragraph-long-something-you-think-up-just-to-get-a-fast-ribbon fanfic. Recognition Certificate
This Ribbon is given at your Section Leader's or SGA's discretion. As a reward for some assistance given.
Service Plaque
To achieve this medal, you must be active in the site. Volunteer Service Certificate
Given by the SGA Team to one who does a service to the SGA. While not as hard to get as the Outstanding Volunteer Service Ribbon, you still have to submit something of importance to the SGA for this Ribbon. It usually helps if you have an idea of something you can do or ask one of the SGA Team about doing something they need done.

As far as I know, these ribbons and medals can be earned by civilians.
Achievement Medal (500)
Achieved after successfully completing 500 Missions.
Achievement Ribbon
Obtaining the position of Team Leader.
Commendation Medal
Once you achieve the rank of 'Second Lieutenant' this medal will automatically be awarded to you.
Distinguished Service Ribbon
Obtaining the position of Section Leader.
Good Conduct Medal

The Good Conduct Medal is awarded to those who actively participate in the SGA with a clean record. If you cheat, act inappropriately in any forum, or break the Terms of Use, you cannot be awarded this Medal. Attitude counts a lot and you have to participate in the Officer's Club or any other chat room to help obtain this medal.
Selective Special Mission Medal
This medal is given to one who carries out and successfully completes a  Selective Special Mission (a mission given by the SGA Team). For example, this means like help write missions or reviews of the shows or write character development of the characters within the shows or other such missions. Ideas are welcome
Special Achievement Ribbon
Obtaining the position of Division Leader.
Special Mission Ribbon Alpha
Completing Special Mission Alpha. This Ribbon cannot be obtained any longer as SMA is retired. Pretty sure SMA is now opened again, although the description of the ribbon still shows that it is not.
Special Mission Ribbon Beta
Completing Special Mission Beta.
Special Mission Ribbon Charlie
Completing 3 Phases of Special Mission Charlie. This Ribbon cannot be obtained any longer as SMC is retired. This information is correct for the old (2002) Special Mission Charlie. Requirements for current  (2004-2005) SMC are unknown.
USAF Cross Medal
This medal is given only to one who does something of GREAT importance to the SGA. This is not easily achieved.
USAF Distinguished Service Medal
Given along with the Distinguished Service Ribbon, this is only awarded to Section Leaders.
