There are several options for the way the chat rooms work:

1: Set how often (in seconds) the Chat page refreshes. Click on the number you want to select. The default is 20 seconds at the present. This is a matter of personal choice.

2: Set whether the Emoticons (Smilies and small pictures) show up when you are chatting. This is a matter of personal choice.

3: Set whether the Sections, Divisions, and Teams show up when you are chatting. Disabling this makes the chat load faster on slower connections. This is a matter of personal choice.

4: Set whether the Pink Elephant sometimes affectionately referred to as "Pinky" shows in the chat or not.

Basic list of Don'ts in any forum.

1. No bad language. Don't even try to alter it to cover it up with symbols.

2. No sexual innuendoes.

3. Kissing and hugging is alright on a hello and goodbye basis, but not when cuddling. And it's only to the extent of friends.

4. No reference to harmful drugs is allowed.

5. Alcohol can only be served on a celebratorial occasion. Coke and other beverages can be used in alcohol's place otherwise.

6. You are not allowed to give out mission answers. This is against the terms of service and is considered cheating. You, as well as the person you give the answer to, will have missions deducted, as well as being disqualified from getting the Good Conduct Ribbon/Medal.

Remember doing any of this is breaking the terms of use which you agreed to when you signed up.

These rules can be changed at any time. If you are caught breaking these rules, you will be warned. If you do not desist, you will be booted and/or have points deducted.
